I was out of town from Wednesday until Saturday.

I went to Atlanta for GA Belle's kindergarten grade level program. Those little kids are so stinkin' CUTE!

That was on Thursday....

Friday, I went with the kindergarten grade level to the Atlanta zoo.

Of course I have pictures of both events.

I might post them later in the week.

Tonight I'm posting pictures of the beautiful wedding we went to last night here in Hell.

It was like something out of a movie....seriously....beautiful and fabulous hardly describe it.

This was the tent where the reception was held.
My first thought was: "Cirque du Soleil"

the bride was absolutely stunning, wasn't she?

This is inside the reception tent.
They essentially created a club inside of this tent.
Indescribable....

this was the coolest dance floor.
it had the monogram of the bride and groom
in the center.

I loved this arrangement.

This was one of the food stations.
Sorry this isn't the best picture, but trust me: the food was scrumptious!

these calla arrangements were massive.

Day Trip!

I hadn't been to Panama City Beach in years. It had gotten so tacky and run down...I just didn't like it anymore.

Our guests wanted to go to the beach...at least for an afternoon...."J's" little girl, "C" had never been...so off we went.

Ga Belle and I were pleasantly surprised to discover this right across the street from the public beach.....

then GA Belle and I hit the shops while J and C spent some time on the beach
I love this store and would buy one of everything in it if I could.

I have GOT to stop doing that!

everything is so bright, colorful and clean....

even the signs are cute!

neither GA Belle or I had ever seen a Target with a garden center
we walked about a mile and a half carrying shopping bags to get here....
made the mistake of buying stuff b/c we thought we'd be able to take a short cut back

Some bobo security guard wouldn't let us through (something about "hazardous construction area.....::roll eyes::)
so we trudge back to Target...cussing him all the way
well, I was cussing...GA Belle doesn't cuss...it's weird...
anyway...

I get the genius idea to take a Target shopping cart for the death march back to the car.

Seemed like a good idea at the time....

here I am....nonchalantly pushing the cart all the way around to the back of Target

"la la la la......"

then I got stuck in the mulch.

Note to Target:

all shopping carts should come equipped with 4WD

GA Belle and I were laughing so hard we almost peed our pants.

My Weekend in Pictures

Y'all....it has been a whirlwind here at the Casa this weekend!

Cleaning, shopping, eating out, rearranging furniture, cooking, baking, eating, working out (those last four don't really go together).....I am one tired old broad!

The reason for most of the activity is that GA Belle is here until Thursday. She's on Spring Break and has come back to Hell and brought friends with her. Woot! We love having company at the casa. Especially company like "J' who cooks Sunday dinner and even bakes a cake for dessert. She can come back anytime!
