Some of y'all may remember that I considered an Exorcism when the frog situation got outta hand.

You have to get official clearance from the Catholic church for an Exorcism.

Now that I've seen what could have happened had that snake gotten inside, I've decided to call in the big guns.

I'm gonna get a Curandera .

.....and she's gonna have to be really talented to remove this black-magic curse that hangs over Casa de Pissy.

Currently being held hostage at the casa by 3 raccoons.

Raccoons first seen in carport of casa.

Scattered when discovered by Sweet Man and his son.

(Sweet Man thinks they may be rabid.)

Am under orders not to allow dogs out of house until raccoons are off premises.

One raccoon last seen climbing huge tree closet to front stoop (resting spot of Big Boy).

Location of other two raccoons unknown at this time.

Suspect they may be in league with frogs.

Please send help.

A letter from Hell

Dear Everyone Outside of Hell,

Sorry I've been lacking in the posting of posts and visiting of blogs for the past week.

There has been a whirlwind, nay, a frenzy of activity in the Southern Circle of Hell for the past week. I can best sum it up by saying that I have not stayed in my pajamas past noon one day this week.

I KNOW!

I've been that busy!

Y'all probably know that both Georgiabelle and Little P are in the process of moving.

Georgie to a house she and Z have just bought.

Little P to a loft in the city.

Both of them being my daughters, this moving has resulted in a flurry of redecorating and furniture purchasing.

During Georgie's visit, we have been to my friend's furniture shop no less than 4 times, to our favorite home decor shop no less than 3 times, and to an antique mall 2 times.

We've been out to lunch with friends 3 times and to our hairguy's shop twice.

I won't tell y'all how many times we've been to Wal-mart.

All of this has required that I get dressed, do my hair and wear at least minimal make-up 5 out of the last 7 days.

Do y'all know how much that has pained me?????

All of that being said, today there should be a lull before the part two of the frenzy continues here at the Casa.

Georgiabelle is leaving this morning.

Little P is arriving tomorrow night.

I won't bore y'all with all of the moving of and purchasing of furniture that I have done myself here at the Casa this week. All of this brought on my Sweet Man's purchasing of a 32 inch HD flat-screen t.v.

I'll save that for another day.

Now I shall close this post by using one of Hell's more vivid colloquialisms~

Finally, we got all comfy in bed with our laptops and watched the results show of 'So You Think You Can Dance' and blogged during commercials.....

Retraction

What was I thinking?!?!?

As y'all can see , I took down yesterday's post.

I just want to say in all honesty, that my first thought when I saw that picture of myself was: "When did I develop a double chin?!?!?" "When did the sagginess start?"

I even emailed Mercedes and told her that.

I'd say: "ask her...she'll tell you I said that"....but she doesn't know about my blog.

I appreciate eveybody's kind comments, but the post really wasn't a solicitation for compliments~and I apologize if it came across that way.

Sometimes I guess I don't think before I post. ;-)

Adventures in DNA collections: Smooth Operator Edition

It finally happened.

I got hit on today during DNA collections.

I'm not counting the prison guard at the jail last month.
That's another story....

So today, in bops this tall, skinny white guy in his early 30's......super perky and friendly.

As we're both taking our seats to begin the paperwork, he says: "You really do the color pink well....your blouse, your shoes...looks good on you!"

me: Thanks.

him: "I don't know why I have to take this test. I know she's my daughter. I've been her Daddy for 5 years....since she was born."

me: (trying to be nice and make conversation) " I have daughters too. But they're older."

him: "Older? What? Like 11?"

(OOOOhhhhhh.....he's so smooth!!!!!)

me: "No. Like 27 and 24."

his oh-so-clever reaction: "Wow! That Oil of Olay stuff really works!"

Yes. He ACTUALLY said those words......

So if anything should happen between me and Sweet Man, I'll be looking this dude up and I'll know where to find him.

Wanna know why?

As he was leaving he made sure to tell me he works 2nd shift at the Waffle House.

You know.

In case I want to stop by and see him sometime.
