No, I haven't seen the movie.

(Although I have been tempted......)

But I did receive a phone call from Sam himself.

That's right!

Me! Pissy! Sam called me Sunday while I was sitting on the toilet!

C'mon! Y'all know you take your cell phone into the bathroom with you when you're gonna be in there awhile.....you know what I'm talking about.

Don't judge.

So anyway, I'm sitting there...reading the USA Today magazine and my cell phone rings.

Of course I think it's one of my girls.

Or Weeza.

They would be the only ones who would call me at 11:00 on a Sunday morning.

But HELL NO!

It's Sam! And he was rude! Didn't give me a chance to say anything! Just kept on talking!

Of course, I was so dumbfounded to hear his voice on my phone to really say anything anyway.

The "call" went something like this:

Sam: Nancy! You need to go see "Snakes on a Plane!

Quit spending all your time on the internet, grab your homegirl, Cheryl.....

(Sam still says "homegirl"? I thought he was cooler than that! And who the hell is "Cheryl"?)

and go see the best movie out right now!

Stop taking care of all those sick people, get in your wanna-be sportscar and go see Snakes on a Plane!

(Now he's insulting the Pissymobile? That really hurt, Sam.)

Housewarming photo album

My latest adventure begins Friday afternoon, when I met GaBelle at
The Shoppes at Eastchase in Montgomery.....
While I waited for GaBelle to arrive from Atlanta,
I found Suzie Q's gift at Williams-Sonoma

and of course found myself some new sandals
Like I was gonna go to a shopping center and not buy something for me!
(They were on sale for $15.00, but I had a store credit, so cost -0-)

Then we drove on to the city where Suzy lives for the festivities.....

we went out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant.........

and then back to Suzy's where we sat outside on the patio for hours....everyone drank while one of our friends played guitar and sang....

Bless his heart, he played and sang for over 2 hours....

he's really good, too!

GaBelle was sitting right next to me, but I had to crop her out.... :(

a select few are meeting up, going out to dinner
and then having a "sleep-over" at her new house!

The "housewarming" party is Saturday brunch (ish).

I'm so excited!
I get to see some some friends that I don't see nearly enough...
~and~
Gabelle is driving down to meet me and take part in the festivities!

I know we're gonna have soooooo much fun!

and since I don't drink, I'll remember all of it and
will have the evidence (photos) to prove it!

p.s. Never fear. I've already removed that tacky shoulder strap off of the handbags. Y'all know I'd die before I left that shit on there!
