Como se dice en Espanol.......

Psssssssst!

It's me.....

I know this is super lazy of me....but ever since I started checking out Guanabee on a daily basis...I keep coming across stuff that reminds me of growing up in Texas as the whitest Mexican girl in my high school. I'm talking so much like a white girl, the other Mexicans didn't even speak to me. Ha!

Anyway.....back to the laziness......I'm always finding stuff on there that I want to share with y'all....besides....during boot camp...I'm doing cardio 6 days a week (yeah, right!) and weight training 3 times a week ( I actually do that) so my ass is tired and can't come up with anything entertaining to post on my own. Other than pictures of cute puppies, of course.

So...Guanabee has a post about this site.....that has a bunch of what they call "freejoles" (heh) .....computer icons that you can put on your Facebook page...or whatever else you might be into....

There are lots of them, but these are my favorites.

Enjoy!

This one is so wrong...yet so right.....
What?
I'm already IN Hell, remember?

I'll probably have to print this, blow it up to poster size and use it at my next
Cinco de Mayo fiesta!

....and I don't even like cats!

.....and just so you can't say we don't strive to educate here at the Southern Circle of Hell:

1. cholo

A cholo is term implying a Hispanic male that typically dresses in chinos (khahki pants), a wifebeater sleeveless teeshirt or a flannel shirt with only the top buttoned, a hairnet, or with a bandana around the forehead, usually halfway down over the eyes. Cholos often have black ink tattoos, commonly involving Catholic imagery, or calligraphy messages or family names.

*definition: Urban Dictionary

Trust me when I say that there has NEVER been a cholo sighting here in Hell.

  1. interesting.... ;-)

As a matter of interest, Mexicans are in the news in this country (Canada). They're showing up by the busload at our border, particularly in Windsor, Ontario.

Hasn't anybody told 'em that it gets cold here? ;-)

  3. Golly. Just as well you gave us the translations or I would have been all at sea,......the Gulf of Mexico or the English Channel or the Irish sea? Maybe I should spin the globe a bit more?
    Cheers

  4. Thanks for the impromptu spanish lesson! The "I lean like a cholo" one was hilariuos, and I always wondered what cholo meant.

I always see you at Blanco's and we agreed that the cat was asking for it, so I thought I'd drop by. Glad I did. This is hillarious reading.

    Peace out!

  7. Come to Las Vegas; see muchos cholos.

I've been reading your blog for some time now, Pissy. As a Southern girl myself, I must stay: Sweetie, you are fascinating! I hope the boot camp experience helps you realize your goal. I don't have the willpower or the stamina. Best of luck.

  8. i love these. i doubt they will gain me any popularity with the mexicanos but they are pretty cute.

i am still trying to figure out why most mexicans are rude to me anyways. i love their culture, their food and sense of family. but the ones i know seem to hate everything about me...

  11. I don't believe I've ever seen a cholo except on TV. Maybe they don't like the Midwest?

  14. I like the pic of the Cat wearing the wife beater. I think I spilled some beer on my wife beater this weekend so it was a pretty productive weekend. ;) Good stuff.
