Tulips! And Glasses!

Yeah, I pretty much had no idea what to title this post,
so I went with the obvious.

My pot of red tulips.
Aren't they pretty?
I'm really loving red and turquoise together these days.

And y'all....

....I've been looking for new frames FOREVER!

I want some that look like this:

But maybe smaller....

more like these:

They're called "Mr. Digler"
and cost $65 from the "Eyebobs" site.

I'm just really leery of ordering frames I've never tried on.

Have any of you bought frames online?

Thoughts?

  4. Jill: I know.....I'm probably not going to do it. There's a boutique on the square that sells the "Eyebobs" brand. Maybe they'll get a frame I like eventually. :)

    Thanks! :)

Sage: LOL! My eyesight is so far gone that even squinting doesn't work for me.

Jackiesue: Thank you! I like the combination a lot. :)

    yes, I'm leery myself..... :(

  7. Love tulips. Ordered reading glasses online, but frameless, so I don't know about that.

  8. Beautiful colors and flowers!

I am not brave enough to order glasses online. I need about 10 people to look at them on me before I can decide.

I've missed you! It's been crazy around here and I haven't been around much but I'm going to go now and catch up on your older posts.

    Hope all's well.

  9. I have never bought any on line. i have worked in optical, you would need to know the width size of a frame to your face....I think trying on is the best though. the shape you have picked out, the smaller version would be great for you, I think. ...beautiful colors and flowers. take care. good luck.

  10. I've been avoiding getting new glasses for the past few years---the new smaller styles are just NOT flattering to my face.

But then I almost failed the eye test for my driver's license last week, so it's off to the eye doctor. gah!

    Love, love LOVE the tulips!

  11. both those frames are fantastic. I have frames that are similar and LOVE them. If I were you I would sneak into like Lens Crafters and try on styles like the ones you have picked out here to get an idea of what they look like and then order them online.
