Pissy makes a new friend.....

and other adventures.....

Friday morning I met the fabulous "lla" from the oh-so-cool blog 'Bad Fortune Cookie'.

Loved. Her.

I stood her up by over-sleeping, but she was gracious enough to come back and hoof it through Decatur with me for .....I don't even know how long. We talked the entire time so the distance didn't seem to matter.

She even brought me a gift....that she made herself! How cool is that?!?!?

And the bag she brought the gift in was green....with PINK paper!

Like I said: Love. Her.

later that day I ate lunch at Roly Poly.....
great sandwich...
their sign was cute

...went to the coolest bookstore....'Wordsmith's'

The interior is SO fantastic...I could have stayed there all day
this is a picture of the interior that I found on-line
when I was there, it was storming outside and I felt so cozy in that bookstore...
it was like being in a cocoon...
Saturday morning, Z, GAbelle and I went out for breakfast.
GAbelle had the most enormous pancake I've even seen.
Here is photographic evidence.

Of course GAbelle and I shopped...duh!
I bought this really cute Max Studio dress
and Steve Madden pumps
this is a really bad picture, but you get the idea.

Here is GAbelle stylin' the new Kenzie bag she bought today

We were worn out after all that shopping,
so we stopped and had a smoothie....
YUUUUUMMMMM!!!

Later in the evening we went out to dinner
and to some shops on the square.
I want this sign...

I thought these were super cute too...

...but the best was the spider headband.
If I didn't already have my spider tiara from last year
I SO would have bought this.

Back to Hell tomorrow!

  1. My wife would love that spider headband. I think the only reason she still keeps me around is to squish the little buggers... ;-)

  4. Does one have to meet you to get a gift, because I would really like a gift. I need you to go to my local garage and yell at them to get my car back sooner! haha.

I am not sure what to be for Halloween

(and you're glad you started off with all the love - before I got to the end and read that you have a -be still my covetous heart- SPIDER Tiara! I never even knew there was such a thing, but now I find myself consumed with envy. You know how I love a good tiara...)

Where'd the gorgeous pancake come from??? Bubba and Schecky would be all over that!

  15. Hi BP! Sorry I haven't been by your blog lately ...

The pictures are, as ever, very nice ... although the tarantula one was a bit creepy! By the way, that dress looks very nice on you.

As for returning to "hell," well, if you are there, it isn't so "hellish" after all!!

    :-)
