Haircut?

Working at a salon...even two afternoons a week....I see all kinds of cute haircuts.

So of course I want one too.

I think.....

Ya'll help me decide:

chin length like Thanksgiving '05 ?

~or~

long and layered (but in need of at least a trim) today....?

Be honest!

p.s. I hadn't realized how much my hair had grown in 10 months....Sweet Man likes it better chin length. He says I look younger with it shorter.....Hair Guy says to let it grow....Help!

  2. I like your hair long (The way it is now is perfect). Very sexy.

What you doing up so late? Me? I couldn't sleep... too cold. Needed the hellfires of Pissy's blog to warm me.

  3. The longer hair is totally beautiful ans much more natural looking.

I believe in the longer the better.

    :)

  4. I'm voting chin length - you have perfect bone structure though, so either way is beautiful.

  5. i think i'm voting chin length too. Maybe if you do longer do less flippy out. I don't know- i'll see you next weekend- let's decide then!

  6. I like it better longer. You're so pretty, though, you could shave your head and still be drop-dead-gorgeous! Listen to stylist, though - let it grow out. If you like it long, keep it, if not, chop it off. I bet your hair would look wicked cut in really chunky layers.

  7. Long hair is so sexy, don't cut it... if you want something new why not throw some color in? Personally I think your gorgeous just the way you are...

  8. Chin length, easier to work with. But my hell you have gorgeous hair!

  9. I would almost suggest slightly shorter that chin length, maybe just below your ears. Yes it does make you look younger and you have great cheek bones for it :-)
If it grows that quickly you can't go far wrong anyway.

  10. I like it chin-length. It's adorable and looks easier to care for. I'm all about the low maintenence.

  11. I love it long! Keep it the way it is. If you feel you need a change, have them put some highlight streaks in it.

  12. I thought the first one was cute but when I saw the second photo, I thought, "WOW".....definetly the longer style.

  15. bruce: heh! ok....long...and thanks! :)

hippo: one more vote for long...it really wasn't that late. It was more like 10:30 Wed night... :)

    tl: ok...3 for long... :)

neverenough: Thanks! I'm really tempted with the shorter length...almost everyone who comes in the shop is having that done...:)

little p: ok...chin length again...I had just blown it out in that picture...but it's gotten so long now that if I don't at least curl the ends it bothers me...

friday: I don't know about the shaving my head thing....maybe in younger days I could have gotten away with that...but now? but Thanks! I do like it long....it just really needs to be cut! at least a trim! :)

t: some color....several people have suggested that. I've never done that other than have the gray covered. Maybe I should do that!

    j r : thanks! one more for short :)

anonymous: That's so funny that you said that! My favorite haircut was shorter and stacked a little in the back. Sweet Man said not to go that short. ;-)

nonny: it is easier in a way...and probably looks better on a daily basis. :)

kc: you don't think it makes me look too old? I worry about that a lot! Streaks! Hmmmm.... ;-)

lori: thanks! Long is versatile (sp?)....maybe if I just get a trim for now....I don't know!!!!

guys: a friend of mine who reads my blog but doesn't comment, emailed me and voted for shorter.

    so that's 7 for long and 6 for short....Arghhhhhh!!!! :)

  17. I can't decide. I like them both!

  18. I really like the longer cut but I could see some shorter layers around the face.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I vote for chin length. It frames your beautiful face better.

    ReplyDelete
  20. wow- that's a split vote, Mom! :) Maybe try a little of both? Do shorter face framing chin length chunky layers but keep the length??? And do it straight! Does it really flippy out on it's own? Either way, it's pretty!

  21. Long- makes you look younger. And you can still pull it back when needed.

  22. I'm with Pud ... I can't decide. How can ya paint the peacock??
    :-)

Blanche: I am a natural blonde.
Dorothy: Yep. You and Tina Turner.

Blanche: What's a great looking gal of 40 like me to do?
Dorothy: Blanche, the only thing that's 40 in this room is your hairdo.

  23. I love both! You can't make me choose!

I love the flip of the long hair but love how the short hair frames your adorable face.

Hell, it took me years to cut mine short but I wouldn't go back to long for anything. It's always in my face.

  24. as a rule my answer to any and all hair questions is "huh, what, oh... i was just fixing the door here. do we have any wood screws or will i have to go to the hardware store?"

    ----

now that i am single and braver, i will venture into the mix

i think you look very attractive in both pictures

my preference - and it is only a personal preference - is the shorter look

  25. hey guys! I've just gotten off the phone with GaBelle and we'd dececided that I'm gonna cut it shorter~chin lenght probably.

then I come on her and it looks like the short look won out over the longer length with you guys too. :)

and like Hair Guy always says: "It's hair. It'll grow." ;-)

  26. Hey fucker,

Get the bob, it looks hot.

    Love,
    me

    ReplyDelete
  27. well it's about 50-50- so i suggest bleaching it blond and cut it into a spikey punk look with pink tips..

  28. I'm torn. They both look really good. :)

    ReplyDelete
  29. I like the longer style, but then I just chopped my hair off, and the result was monstrous!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Longer, yes most certainly longer. It frames your face so nicely. PB

    ReplyDelete
  31. Can we go in between with sideswept bangs and some layers?

    ReplyDelete
  32. doesnt matter...either way your a total babe! But I like it chin length b/c its.....perky! It brightens you up...it does make you look younger.

    ReplyDelete
  33. i vote for the chin length also, very cute and kinda sassy ;o)

    ReplyDelete
  34. Get yourself a sweetass mullet. *L*

    Seriously?

I love longer hair, but, you carry that chin length SO well. I think it makes you look younger actually. Long hair drags a woman down as she gets older. The bob focuses on your features. Your great bone structure and your enormous eyes!

I think I would go for something in between the longer length and the chin length with more face framing shorter layers cut into it...and some chunky side swept bangs.

Course, you are stunning regardless...and anything you do is going to look faboo!

    CP.
