No show

The casa was shown three times today.

Due to how exhausted I am from all this "keeping-the-house-perfect" thing that I've developed, I've decided that I'm not going to answer the phone tomorrow.
That way, the casa cannot be shown.

Who wants to go to the pool?

  1. I'm up for the pool, Pissy! Hope things slow down but hope you sell the Casa.

  2. Signgurl: Yea! I'll save you a lounge chair!

I really shouldn't complain about the house being shown....but when someone walks in and leaves in less than 10 mins?

    That's a little disheartening.

But it's so early in the game that I refuse to get discouraged! :)

  3. That's hard being on call like that. It will eventually be what sells it, but it's still hard. Enjoy your hopefully quiet weekend.

  4. You need to go to the pool, have a few margaritas, forget about the house deal today, just take the weekend off and dont think of it. I would love to get in the pool this weekend but the water is too cold. so I will go and work on Ashleys apt.....(sigh)

  6. But don't you have to be out when the realtor shows the house?

  7. shpprgrl: It's different for me b/c I told the realtor that I had to have at least an hour's notice b/c of the dogs. Otherwise, I'd just leave the house for a few hours...

orhan: C'mon! there's plenty of room!

catch: I was actually going to go today, but it was cloudy all day long. I've been watching Lifetime movies instead.

samantha: You too! I'm usually there alone...this way all of us can have a party! ;-)

loops: I knew it would be like this....I'm sure it would be worse if I had a child living at home. At least this way, it's just me and my husband.

....and if I wasn't so OCD about wanting things to look perfect....

arcturus: I asked about that first. The realtor said it's fine for me to be here ~just "be discreet" about it. I stay out on the deck. Hasn't been a problem so far. I'd leave, but she told me it wasn't necessary.

I do have to take all three boys out to the area of our yard that is specially fenced off for them....

    They're not "outside" dogs.

  8. The pool sounds like the love shack, baby, yeah!

  9. I am about to go for a swim. We bought out new place before selling the old one. That was for sure stressful having two mortgages. Luckily, we had both for only 2 months, but the one great thing was we didn't have to worry about not messing up the old place. Good luck. Hopefully it will be resolved SOON!!!!

  12. That does sound like a pain in the ass to have to constantly show your house. Good luck!

  13. Did you show the house at all this weekend?

What's the temp there? It's really cooled down here. Too cold for the pool.

  17. yeah, ditching the house for an hour and just hanging somewhere like the mall sucks after the first half a dozen times...

  19. just wanted to give you guys an update~ I didn't get any calls to show the house this weekend, so not a problem!

  20. I had to leave yesterday twice to have my house shown, and both were for ten minutes as well. It completely sucks keeping the house absolutely perfect and then having to lug two kids in the car and drive around everytime someone wants to see it. Selling a house is hell!!!
