Remember those recipes I asked for?

Thank you all so much for sending them,
but I decided to take the easy way out
because I'm lazy like that.

Instead, I made what I knew would turn out well....

Cream Cheese Brownies

(This recipe is the original copy that a friend
gave me over 20 years ago.

See how lazy I am?

I haven't even re-copied it.)

Prepping.....

the brownie mixture
awaiting the cream cheese layer....

The best part...
the cream cheese mixture
(yum!!!!!!)

cream cheese layered on top of brownie mixture

in the oven....

loving close-up of frosted finished product...
(don't they look gooooooood?!?!?)

lined up on trays.....

~and~

wrapped and ready to go.

~Meanwhile.....
Buster was so exhausted by my frenzy of activity,
that he fell sleep upside down while I worked.

  3. I am suddenly hungry & this box of corn flakes isn't looking so fulfilling.

The Buster photo is hilarious. I think he was trying to look at your butt when he fell asleep.

  7. Those things have so many calories, I think it oozed out of my monitor and attached to my thighs just looking at it! Which means, I would want to eat the entire pan myself, ha!
Please freeze and ship to me...

  12. ohmygod, those look so yummy! Like I told Pixie in a comment on one of her recent posts, I don't own any baking apparatus so I cannot even attempt to make something like this. I'll just hire you instead. Please?

  13. pixie: still not loving the kitchen, huh? *LOL*

fridaysweb: my birthday is the day after Christmas.

You've got a deal! You post a picture of the pie and I'll post a picture of the brownies!

hedy: it was tiring, I must say. But they were worth it in the end.

    Thanks for visiting. :)

kc: I don't bake anymore either. Except for these. And they're mostly from a mix. I promise you: you could make them. The frosting is from a can. How much easier could they be? ;-)

burr-ee-toe: they are~even if I did make them myself! ;-)
