Do NOT buy Keebler Pecan Sandies Reduced Fat Cookies!
They say:
"25% less fat that original Sandies...."
I say:
50% less taste!
They say:
"melt-in-your-mouth Cookies with Crunchy Pecans...."
I say:
No they don't. It takes a giant swig of chocolate milk to make them melt in your mouth.
....and the pecans are teeny.
Trust me on this.
I've done the field work.

Thanks for the word of warning, I love them and probably would have tried the diet ones.....I would prefer to keep my flabby arse than give up taste on those particular cookies....
ReplyDeletedoo dah: you are so very welcome!
ReplyDeleteI love them too and thought I should at least give these a try....MISTAKE!
I don't prefer any reduced fat products.
ReplyDeleteFortunately I don't have that problem - can't get them over here!!
ReplyDeleteI hate when they fool you like that! Its not fair! :( I do enjoy reduced fat cheez its. But I always wonder if they're still reduced fat if I've consumed the entire box.
ReplyDeleteI hate reduced fat products...what they dont tell you is it is also reduced taste!
ReplyDeletePissy, I havent found Gidget yet :((...the first thing I thought of when I woke up this morning was her. Im thinking I should never have stolen that dog even if I was trying to rescue her. I guess this is payback.
and don't fall for those mini- buttered popcorn rice cake hooties. it's like artificially buttered cardboard crap.
ReplyDeletebleeeech....
I love the regular ones...mmmmmm.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the warning.
Online Confession #102: I don't eat reduced fat anything.
ReplyDeleteGive me the real thing! Or nothing! Liberty or death! Bananas or Bananas! Oh. Excuse me.
Pissy, I don't buy anything that is reduced. Especially sugar and fat. Actually that's not true, sometime I buy Bud Light, but please don't tell anyone, I got a rep to protect.
ReplyDeleteYou're like Consumer Reports!
ReplyDeleteI had a friend years ago.. who believed that since it said Weight Watchers on the box... He could eat the whole box.. and it not matter... He loved the WW fudgecicles.. but he would eat a box at one sitting..lol..... hmm... well.. I do appreciate the warning.. Field work is a good thing...

ReplyDeleteWe are so fortunate to have you to do our dirty work for us, Pissy.
ReplyDeleteThough, like Ebezp, we don't get Sandies here in our neck of the woods, but thanks to your report, I wouldn't buy them if we did.
low fat cookies blow.
ReplyDeletei just end up eating 10 instead of 5.
Low fat cookies are just an oxy moron. They make you think that you're doing the right thing and being "healthy" but then you realize you they don't taste quite right and eat about 15 more than you should have because you're trying to find out if they do indeed taste differently.
ReplyDeleteI say just go for the real thing!
But thanks for the field work. Sometimes you never know......
Those are cookies you just don't scrimp on. They're also one of my favorites.
ReplyDeletePecan Sandies AND Cinco De Mayo....I "heart" you. hmmm..you think they go good with margaritas?
ReplyDeleteI'll tell you what pisses me off..when they sell you a 'new and improved product'..what the hell was the old product? shit on a stick?...they lie..they lie..they lie...
ReplyDeleteThanks for your dedicated work in the field, Pissy! I'll stick with regular, full-flavor Oreos.
ReplyDeleteOreos will never let you down like that.
ReplyDeleteI recently had the 100 calorie pack "Grasshopper" cookies by Keebler. They were delicious!
ReplyDeleteOf course, I could have eaten 3 packs....but I didn't!
Thanks for the warning!
I miss sugar.... *sigh*
ReplyDeleteThe field work has been done.
ReplyDeleteNoted ;)
But have you tried the new Hershey Bars with Peanut Butter. They RULE!!!
