Evidently I need to work on my "Glare of Death".
Rude Mommy and brood were back at the pool yesterday morning.
I staked my claim to my favorite spot around 10:15...thinking I'd have at least 2 or 3 hours of peace.
Normally no one starts showing up until after church.....around 12:30 or 1:00.
and since I'm a heathen who doesn't attend church~I have a kick-ass tan AND the pool to myself pretty much every Sunday morning.
Apprarently Rude Mommy went to "early church" or skipped yesterday 'cuz bitch showed up at 11:00!
Damn it.
Maybe I did intimidate her just a tad. She and her two kids and three bags of pool toys stayed at the opposite end of the pool from me.
I could still hear Bubba's shrieking though.
How shrill does a shriek have to be before your ears bleed?

Here is a photo of her spawn. They look so innocent, don't they?
That's her golf cart in the background.
Sans streamers.

Later that same day......

I'M FIRST!!
ReplyDeleteYou live that far down in the Deep South and you don't go to church? Uh, oh, Big Pissy ... the morality squad could show up at any time.
Oh, yes, they're adorable -- the dogs, that is, not Rude Mommy's spawn.
oh god, i had a similar pool experience yesterday. screaming, rowdy kids and adults who had apparently just given up on any sort of control. i was just trying to read, i left after a half hour.
ReplyDeleteYeah, and you just hated having him sit on you I am sure. You do need to work on the glare. Oddly, it's still too cool here to get in the pool, but once it warms up I'll get some photos on how it's done & post them for you.
ReplyDeleteHey that's the prime doggie spot! LOL
ReplyDeleteHubby calls our little yorkie his "burl-warmer". ;-)
Your tan looks good Pissy and I think it's time you started locking the gate on Sunday mornings.
ReplyDeleteYour tan is fabulous, As a seventh grade science teacher, I have developed quite a mean glare, known to freeze blood in 20 seconds.
ReplyDeletePissy, your tan is beautiful! I've never seen your glare of death but I'm scared!
ReplyDeleteHey, getting them relegated to the opposite end of the pool is some progress. I do like the idea of locking the gate from the inside and then plugging yourself into an iPod or something so you can't hear them asking you to let them in!
ReplyDeleteThe best place for screaming children is at the bottom of the pool. But I jest. next time just throw a baby ruth bar in the water...chances are...NO ONE gets in.
ReplyDeleteThats why I go to my own pool in my backyard...the only screaming kids I have to put up with are my grandkids..lol. You do have a kickass tan Pissy! Its not warm enough to swim yet up here in the North Pole..lol, your dogs are like mine....if Im laying or sitting anywhere....so are they!!!
ReplyDeleteYou could always let the air out of her golf cart tires. Park it in the kudzu.
ReplyDeleteMy dog always did that when I had to pee. LOL
the evil ones are always cute.
ReplyDeletelittle bastards
Awww, what a sweet picture! As for the pool situation: sniper rifle. That's all. :)
ReplyDeleteNothing like screaming tax write-offs to ruin a relaxing day at the pool! But, damn, look at that awesome tan, you heathen - he he (visiting from Minx)
ReplyDeleteNext time invite me to the pool - I can GUARANTEE they will run. I've been able to make people move out of our neighborhood. *evil laugh*
ReplyDeletePissy, tell ya what, why don't you borrow my girls for a day at the pool. They will most definately annoy Rude Mommy to tears. By the time my kids are done, Rude Mommy may choose to never return. All you have to do is tell the girls what you want them to do - and leave nothing out! - and they'll gladly give you a giggle, and later on some well-deserved peace and quiet.
ReplyDeleteoh, and you have GREAT legs!
Poor Pissy! Tell Sweet Man that you need your very own Olympic sized swimming pool in your back yard. I'm sure he'll be OK with it.
ReplyDeleteHaha. I love that we share that bond. Yay for not going to church and tanning instead!
ReplyDeleteBuster knew best! Lovely pic!!
ReplyDeleteas a recovering catholic myself, i'm all for abstaining on sunday morning
ReplyDeletegood on you
and as for the dog seat
well, they're dogs. they know where the action is.
LAUGHING>>> aww BUSTER just wanted to sit with his Mommy.. he reminds me of my COOKIE... she is like that... and the loud pool kids with the clueless mom.. hmm I have a feeling u are going to be dealing with that a lot.. by the way .. can't they just.. walk to the pool.. like regular folks.. they have to use a golf cart??? sheesh... walk a few blocks.. might help calm the spawn down.. oh well.. much luck on that too u
ReplyDeletethe goddess says your doing your worshiping where you can be heard better...and good on ya...
ReplyDeletemy pittybull dog nate would sit on my lap too..but he weight 110 lbs..and faced me with his arms around my neck...ha..think you got off easy
Damn tan bitch! If I didn't like you so much, I'd have to send some chicken feet cursed by a local witch doctor!
ReplyDeleteIn this case, I'll send them to the fucktard mommy who has to drive herself to the pool in her golf cart. She sounds exactly like one of those mothers who stays at home but doesn't work like regular stay at home moms. She needs to put those kids in day care and get a damn job.
You poor thing - you need some peace and quiet....it's so hard not to atttack rowdy kids when they are invading your *ear* sapce...
ReplyDeleteyour dogs are adorable!!
ReplyDeleteI'm way behind catching up on my blogs but it was nice to come over and see the pic with the dogs.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't stop looking at your beautiful legs.:)
Where's the pool? I need directions, I promise to be quiet, honest.
tc
Check it out...let me know if it doesn't work

Your tan kicks ass. You suck.
ReplyDeleteIf you need me, I'll be at home putting on sunless tan.
We have the church police around here. That means....when the Mayhem does not make an appearance, the police come out to issue a citation! CRAZY! :)
ReplyDeleteI can not deal with moms who do not watch their kids! Can. not. deal.
Cute dogs!
You must have intimidated her! good show! shrieks huh? I want to sit by the pool this weekend... pouts.
ReplyDeleteHey, y'all!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the comments!
Update as of 5-24:
Just found out today that Rude Mommy is married to pediatrician. They're new in town and currently living at Tartan Pines while they await completion of the McMansion they're building.
I should have know....
You have some very nice legs there, indeed.
