Saturday morning I dragged my lazy ass out of bed at 6:15 (I know...on a SATURDAY) and dressed up to go to the law school graduation of Weeza's stepson. The graduation was in Montgomery....which is an hour and a half drive from Hell....hence...Weeza picked me up at 7:20. GAH! The things I do for my friends!!!! But I couldn't let her go face the enemy alone, could I?
It was a scene right out of a Lifetime movie ...or maybe an episode of 'Brothers and Sisters'.....
There was Weeza's ex-husband's first wife, his daughter with her, Weeza (the 2nd ex-wife) and her two daughers (who sat next to their half-sister), Weeza's ex in-laws (the ex mother-in-law in one of those giant electric chairs), the ex's best friends, the first ex-wife's brother and his wife and the graduate's current girlfriend.
Oh.
And me.
And we all sat together.

*******************************************************************************This morning after walking my 3.5 miles, tanning and showering, I went to McDonalds to get pancakes. I hadn't eaten any breakfast and was a little hungry. It was 10:40 a.m. They start serving lunch at 10:30.
Yeah....cuz everybody eats lunch at 10:30 in the morning.
Then....after I settled on a yogurt and fruit parfait....who should appear but Rude Mommy and her spawn?
I recognized her by the bathing suit she was wearing.
Thankfully, she had on a tank top and a tennis skirt over it.
Still....Rude Mommy is not someone who should wear a tennis skirt in public.....ifyouknowwhatImean.
And where did they sit?
In my favorite section, of course!
I think she's stalking me.

My other big fashion choice is blue and brown together. I wore brown bermudas with a blue Ann Taylor Loft top and blue and brown kitten heel sandals when I was shopping in Atlanta.
A customer in Loft complimented me on my color combination.
I was so proud! A fashion compliment from a "big city gal" ! *LOL*

I LONG AGO swore off any graduation ceremonies. I find them mindnumbing.
I see one of 2 solutions to RM:
ReplyDelete1) strike up a conversation with her and NEVER let her talk. If she does, interrupt her constantly. Talk ONLY about yourself and how fantastic YOUR life is, YOUR kids are, etc. etc. etc. - you know, we all know someone like that - someone we want to just slap but we don't have the guts to do it to (or feel like going to jail for assault)
2) begin cursing ultra-loud around her children. Make sure to use words that would make a biker blush. Do it A LOT. If she asks you to stop, cuss HER out.
Either scenario makes it easy for you. You will no longer need to hide from her; she will stay a mile away when she sees you coming if she's afraid. Make her afraid. Verrrry afraid. :)
