Zumbified and the aftermath

It's 12:21 p.m. here in Decatur, Georgia as I recover
from my "Zumbification".

I slept for 9 solid hours last night.
That's how tired I was after a total of
six hours of Zumba.

Three of those six hours full-out, hard-core, intense dancing,
the other three hours were less intense dancing
but still required movement.

Not to mention the fact that training yesterday
lasted for a total of TEN HOURS!!!

In light of the above facts; plus the fact
that I hadn't had hot food since
Thursday afternoon sometime, I felt that a
hearty breakfast was in order.

Pastries a Go- Go
here we come!

I like that you can help yourself to coffee while you
wait to be seated.

my tasty calorie-laden breakfast
which contained a few of my personal favorite
"Southern" breakfast items:
grits, bacon, biscuit and Sweet Tea with lemon.

(We capitalize "Sweet Tea" in Hell.
That's just how we roll.)

Now for some pictures from my Zumba training.
I know y'all have been waiting breathlessly for these....

But first I have to say that the Gold's Gym
facility where the training was held
was incredible.
State-of-the-art everything.

This was taken Friday night after doing TWO SOLID HOURS of
Zumba "Master Class".
The expression on my face is not necessarily happiness as much
as it is delirious.
Did that make sense?
I don't know....
I'm still zoned out.

Oh!
who knew I had such long thumbs?!?!?
Wtf?
and the "thumbs up" pose was NOT my idea.
Just so you know.

Erick's intro to the day's sessions

as we all sit on our asses listening

I set my fat ass up in the back against a wall on a small pile
of yoga mats.
I had TONS more stuff with me, but taking a picture
of it would have required my standing up
and I wasn't standing up unless I HAD to.
I'm sure you understand.

wrist band required for Friday night's Master Class
I have no idea why....
or why I took the picture of it for that matter.

Zoned out, remember?

Y'all.....I learned SO much, met SO many awesome people
and had an incredible time.

AND
I already got an email from my Gold's Gym
wanting to put me on the schedule to teach in October.

EEK!

I don't know if I'll be ready!!!!
