I've posted before about how I "dance" in the car when songs I love are played.
Today was no exception.
"What You Won't Do For Love" is one of my all time favorite songs.
I was boppin' to this today as I cruised back towards Hell.
Oh! and thanks, YouTube for shattering another myth: that this song was sung by a black guy.
Personally? I don't care what color Bobby Caldwell is~Dude can sing!
*This song is from 1979. We wore funny clothes back then. Don't hate.

Zumbified and the aftermath
It's 12:21 p.m. here in Decatur, Georgia as I recover
from my "Zumbification".
I slept for 9 solid hours last night.
That's how tired I was after a total of
six hours of Zumba.
Three of those six hours full-out, hard-core, intense dancing,
the other three hours were less intense dancing
but still required movement.
Not to mention the fact that training yesterday
lasted for a total of TEN HOURS!!!
In light of the above facts; plus the fact
that I hadn't had hot food since
Thursday afternoon sometime, I felt that a
hearty breakfast was in order.
Pastries a Go- Go
here we come!
I like that you can help yourself to coffee while you
wait to be seated.

my tasty calorie-laden breakfastwhich contained a few of my personal favorite
"Southern" breakfast items:
grits, bacon, biscuit and Sweet Tea with lemon.
(We capitalize "Sweet Tea" in Hell.
That's just how we roll.)
Now for some pictures from my Zumba training.
I know y'all have been waiting breathlessly for these....
But first I have to say that the Gold's Gym
facility where the training was held
was incredible.
State-of-the-art everything.
This was taken Friday night after doing TWO SOLID HOURS ofZumba "Master Class".
The expression on my face is not necessarily happiness as much
as it is delirious.
Did that make sense?
I don't know....
I'm still zoned out.
Oh!
who knew I had such long thumbs?!?!?
Wtf?
and the "thumbs up" pose was NOT my idea.
Just so you know.
I set my fat ass up in the back against a wall on a small pileof yoga mats.
I had TONS more stuff with me, but taking a picture
of it would have required my standing up
and I wasn't standing up unless I HAD to.
I'm sure you understand.
wrist band required for Friday night's Master ClassI have no idea why....
or why I took the picture of it for that matter.
Zoned out, remember?
Y'all.....I learned SO much, met SO many awesome people
and had an incredible time.
AND
I already got an email from my Gold's Gym
wanting to put me on the schedule to teach in October.
EEK!
I don't know if I'll be ready!!!!

It's Happy Bunny Day!
I went over to Little Pissy's loft today to check on her as
she recovers from some minor foot surgery.
Before her drugs kicked in, she showed me all the Happy Bunny
stuff she'd saved
Here are two of my favorites.

600th Post!
Y'all....I have SO much to tell you, it's ridiculous.
So how about some bullets?
OK.
Here we go:
*Saturday morning I did one of the stupidest things I've ever done in my life. I have 10 blisters on my feet to prove it.
Here's a picture
* This past weekend spent a whirlwind 24 hours in Montgomery with GA Belle (my oldest daughter) and Suzie Q. I can't tell y'all why just yet, but it's a whopper! ;-)
here's a picture of me and my beautiful, sweet girl
that's naturally curly hair, people!
it's alright to be jealous.

* Started a new, absolutely PERFECT part time job on Monday (as in yesterday-Monday) working for an attorney friend of mine. It will be three days a week. Which ever three days I want, I get to dress cute and the money is good. (Don't even start with me, Alice! LOL)
he was thrilled for me.

about my grown children.

I want stuff!!!

Well forged dress: $188
Soft Shaped dress: $188
Astral song satchel: $248

Why?
Why do I have to love everything in the new Anthropologie catalog?
Why does it all have to be so expensive?
......and don't even get me started on their home furnishings....
*sigh*

I won't say "I'm lovin' it"
it's more a case of "I'm gettin' used to it".
I've posted before about how we don't have anything even slightly resembling
a Starbucks here in Hell.
a Starbucks here in Hell.
The closest one is a 30 minute drive away.
And even then there are only two: a kiosk in Target and a sort-of-cafe in Barnes and Nobles.
So....I'd settled on buying these
in 4-packs.When I first started buying them around a year ago, the 4 pack cost five bucks.
Sometimes I could get a 4 pack on sale for less than that.
Not too bad for something that I really enjoyed.
Then....they went up to $6.00 a 4-pack.
...and that's at Wal-mart....AND the local Dollar General.
For some reason, paying $1.50 a bottle for those little suckers just got to me.
It's just too much.
Don't ask me why.....it just IS.
Now....I've switched to this
A regular iced coffee from McDonald's.A "regular" cost $2.19 before tax
and that's for a 20 oz. cup.
Yes, there is a lot of sugar in it.
and no, it doesn't taste quite as good as the Frap.
But in a way, that's better.
I can't keep a 4-pack in my fridge...
conveniently available for consumption at any time
and the McDonald's here is such a pain in the ass to get to that I probably
won't go to the trouble of getting one very often.
Guess I should just trying making iced coffee myself, huh?
