Pissy's OK!


Hey Everyone,

This is GaBele posting for my mom. I'm talking to her on her cell right now and she wanted me to let ya'll know that they are ok. The tornado went through our hometown this afternoon (Enterprise, Alabama). The new house is fine, and they are fine. Both of their car windows are busted and there are lots of trees down. They feel very lucky. A few miles away, houses are leveled along with our high school, where they are still airlifting students to nearby hospitals and trying to free students from debris. As of now, there are 8 fatalities at the high school.

She doesn't ask this much, but whatever your religious beliefs are, she is asking for you to please think of these families during this scary time.

They don't know when they will regain power (the whole town is without power and is also under a curfew) but when they do, she'll be back to update.

    Thank you for posting this for her.
    I live in Atmore and it is still real bad weather here so I've had her on my mind when I heard the news.
    The whole community is in our thoughts and if there is anything we can do to help her, please let her know we'd be glad to.

    this is completely surreal to me, especially since it made the news way out here in vegas. i'm so glad that everyone's ok, even if it makes me sad for the town.

    Thank goodness you guys are all right! I am def. thinking about those poor families. From what I understand the fatalities have increased at that high school and it's just horrific. Take care!

    Thanks so much for posting to let us know she's OK. I saw the report about the high school on the news this morning, but had no idea that it was happening in her home town. Thank the gods that she's ok.

    Our town is coming together, it's amazing how people ban together and help one another in a time of need.

    Pissy has power back (YAY) but still no cable/internet. Thanks again for your thoughtfulness!

    thanks for letting us know she is ok...I will light candles and pray for her and all the families..so so sad..if there is anything we can do..maybe send care packages to families..I'm sure everyone could send something to them..jac

    Wow. I am also very glad she/you are OK. I thought of you all when i heard, the news left me dead in my tracks to be honest. I was so glad my kids were fine, you just never know.
