Payback really IS a bitch.....

.....for all those times I said "white people can't hang"

.....for all those years I've spent in the sun even though I knew I shouldn't

.....for all the sunburns I've had that "turned into tans"

I have sun poisoning....
had to go to the doctor and get a shot and some medication yesterday

then today
when I went for my eye exam,
I was informed that there is a "suspicious" looking
spot on my left lower eye lid
AND
I'm very close to the start of macular degeneration
due to over exposure to the sun without
eye protection.

So....I'll just be here....

in the shade....

from now on....

The Good Fairy.....

I'm sure most of you have seen some version of this cartoon.

While I think it's pretty funny, my favorite thing about this particular version is the look of utter disdain on the fairy's face......

Zumba!!!!

They've just started teaching Zumba at my gym.

I LOVE it!

It's so fun and fast paced....I don't even realize I'm working out.

I'm just having fun....learning the steps...shaking my ass...enjoying the music....
and before I know it~the hour is up.

It's a fantastic work out.

MoMo hates to "walk"

MoMo has to be the laziest Maltease E-VER!

He only goes outside to pee...and even then it's only because we make him go out.

Today I decided he needed to walk around the block.

This is the story of that walk.

The ultimate stall:
sitting in the middle of the street.
(Luckily we live in a low traffic neighborhood.)

You think he's looking at me lovingly....

I think he's plotting his revenge.

This reminds me.....

I need to schedule an eye exam,
a mammogram
~AND~
an appointment with...
of all things....
a freakin' periodontist!!!!!

I'm still in Atlanta.

What started out as a short visit has turned into me staying for over a week.

...and ya know?

I gotta say...
it's times like this that not having a job
is really nice.

Thank GOD my husband enjoys having a trophy wife!

we went to a super cute new cafe today
for brunch...

..and of course I had to take a picture of my drink.
I'm saving this bottle and using it for a bud vase.

...and I wouldn't even have gone back to the mall on Monday if 'Sex and the City' hadn't been sold out on Sunday.

So really?

Monday's purchase shouldn't even count.
