The following is an extravaganza of accesories organization
This is my "jewelry box". Yep. I said it. JEWELRY BOX. As you can see, it has 19 drawers. I'm not going to bore y'all with pics of the contents of all 19 drawers. Instead, I'll show only those drawers that I consider the highlights.....
this drawer contains all my pink jewelry, so of course, it's the first one on the left..... gotta be able to get to my pink trinkets fast!
Hat and glove drawer. The black/white hat is my favorite "winter" hat and the pink "Gilligan" hat beneath it is my favorite spring/summer hat. I know y'all don't give a shit about which hats are my favorites. But I thought....what the hell!
This is but one drawer of scarves. I have two.... I wear a lot of scarves.... (duh!)
Two of the 5 drawers containing bracelets. I admit it. I'm a bracelet whore.

Drawers with long necklaces and necklace/earring/bracelet sets..... (I know. It's a sickness)

This one cracks City and Little Pissy up...

City, especially, couldn't believe I actually use a muffin tin to organize my earrings. Hey, it works for me! And yes....the boxes contain more jewelry.
What can I say? People tend to give me jewelry as gifts, too......
So there it is, peeps. All out in the open now. You were right. I'm OCD.
*editor's note*
I should add that I ADORE this piece of furniture. I bought it primarily because of the adoration and secondly because it's so versitile. I can use it in any room in the house.
(Or at least that's what I told Sweet Man when he helped me carry it in to the house. It's a heavy 'Mo 'Fo~solid teak.)

Oh my Lord in heaven...you ARE OCD...that's ok. Someone's gotta be organized in this world.
ReplyDeleteI may have to take some pics of my deskS at school. You would shudder in fear...no lie. I have TWO desks in my classroom...and they're all MINE. I'm a stacker and a spreader but can put my hands on anything, any time. I make my colleagues ill.
Hot Girl called me Anal Annie today. *grin*
Oh my gawd! You are a southern belle. Don't deny it! Any woman with a drawer stictly for pink trinkets is a southern woman to the core! And the size of your "jewelry box"? Yeah, you could give those women in Steel Magnolias a run for their money!
ReplyDeleteCute pics tho. And scarves? Repeat of above.
You are way better at decorating your home than I am. If it ain't covered with a piece of discarded clothing, it's considered neat and tastefully appointed!!! LOL
You know what comes into my mind when I see you're organisation ?
ReplyDeleteIt shows just how much you value things, Pee, and that's admirable.
My ex-wife was the total reverse. She'd leave her cardboard knickers lying around on the bedroom floor for days, or until I picked them up and put them in the washing machine.
You are a sick sick woman- and I love you for it... Me on the other hand, I have earings all over the house, usually not in pairs, nothing and I mean NOTHING is organized. Anytime you feel like putting your OCD to work , feel free to take a trip- or just come visit for the hell of it ;)! I'll make cornbread and collards :)
ReplyDeleteBiss, is this a challenge?
ReplyDeletebuddha girl: Yes I AM! :) You've gottat post pics of your desks~can't wait to see 'em!
ReplyDelete"Anal Annie" ~I like it! hee hee!
Reg: Yep, as much as I hate living in this particular circle of southern hell, I am a Southern Belle. I'm not only "Pissy" but also "Prissy" :) just in case you hadn't picked up on that~ ha!
and 'Steel Magnolias" is one of my favorite movies! Guess 'cuz I can relate to it so much ~ :)
While I could never have it, I understand the clothes thing.... I've seen enough of City's and Little P's college roommates to know that lots of chicks are just that way! just so long as the clothes are clean~
otherwise~ewwww! hahahaha!
Ben: Why thank you! usually I'm just referred to as an anal psycho!
But please tell me: what the hell are "cardboard knickers". I think I know...but I hope I'm wrong! hee hee!
t: when I quit working I think I'm going to travel the country helping my blogging buddies get organized! :) I'd love it!
So, start cookin'!!!
hot lips: do you want it to be?
'Cuz if so: BRING IT!!!!
That is so awesome! I love that each drawer is lined in pink. That really sets everything else off.
ReplyDeleteHey, when you start traveling to help your fellow bloggers, please be sure that I am on your list. I need immediate help in my sewing area. I can't organize things for the life of me! I really need help! Save me, Pissy!
Oh It's Already Been Broughten!!
ReplyDeleteWow Pisyy I am in awe of you.*bows down*
ReplyDeleteI adore the box though, of course if I had it it would be full of junk.
Take all that stuff, throw it around the room at random and you have my organization system. Of course I blame that mostly on the fact that I still don't have much furniture out here.
ReplyDeleteI did buy one of those 70's battery-operated spinning tie racks for all my scarves. Works great, and it's tacky as hell which is a definite plus for me.
Wow! you are orderly and tidy.
ReplyDeletedamn!
And I thought I was organized.. after seeing this, I am a SLOB!! I LOVE the muffin tin idea, you're a genius and can I get on the organizational tour? I need HELP... Apparently more than I thought!
ReplyDeleteBuddha Girl you are like me. I am spread all over yet I do know how to get to my stuff. :) I love it when I tidy up but it only lasts me on day and then bam the world explodes.
ReplyDeleteBig P you are amazing.
kc: thanks for noticing the pink :) consider yourself on the list!
ReplyDeletehot lips: HA!
de: I know you like it like that! Good idea on the scar thingie. sometimes tacky can also be handy :0
tc: hee hee!
e: Oh, I bet you're organized! But if you really think you need it, I could put you on the list. You'll be the next stop after kc's. The muffin tin works great. City uses ice cube trays~they work well too.
Sunny: Thanks :)
Pixie: Thanks...you may rise (hee hee)
ReplyDeletethe problem with a piece of furniture like this is that it would be sooooo easy to just stuff junk in the drawers and then forget about it! :)
Let's see the panty drawer!
ReplyDeleteBiss, HA! back at ya.
ReplyDeleteKudos for not having mini blinds.
And hell, while I'm at it, kudos on the muffin pan thing, too. But my jewelry box came from QVC, therefor, trumps everything else on the planet!
QVC WOOT WOOT!
rocky: since all my panties are from the "pretty plus" line of undergarments, they don't fit in a drawer. I have to keep them in a hugh plastic bin (think Rubbermaid). :)
ReplyDeletehot lips: QVC, huh? I'd like to see a picture of your jewlery box with the door closed. Just to see what it looks like....
Thank you for your appreciation of my muffin tin~it's a handy lil' fella.
It is one of my missions in life to eradicate mini blinds from Casa de Pissy. Only 2 rooms to go. and they're rooms that aren't used much :)
I will also bow down to you! I like tidy but I can't say that my jewelry is THAT organized.
ReplyDeleteCan you put me on the organization tour also?
You call 'em panties pee.
ReplyDeleteWe call them knickers.
She used to leave them lying on the bedroom floor. It was bad. I tell you after a few days I could have thrown them and they'd have stuck to the wall.
Jenn: You're on the list now. You'll be between KC and E! :)
ReplyDeleteBen: I knew what knickers were~it was the cardboard part I wasn't sure about. Actually, I had an idea and apparently I was correct.
EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!
You need to stop making people think you're bigger than you are- pissy! Geez, you're about to have me fooled!
ReplyDeleteLittle P: I think of myself as that size. I thought you knew that. I plan on changing that soon (or at least making an attempt at it). Along with the other changes coming in my life.
ReplyDeleteShould make for some interesting posts!
I swear to everything that's holy -- BLOGGER IS F'ING WITH ME!
ReplyDeleteI have posted several comments over the past few days that have just disappeared.
WTF??
Anyway--I love that you're OCD. Makes me seem normal. ;-)
kb: yeah, I don't know WTF was up but it was annoying as HELL! I had comments from you and Mr. Fab that were in my email but never posted to the comments. I waited cuz I was hoping it would eventually fix (blogger) but I guess it's not going to happen. I also couldn't access ANYONE's blogs for a while~weird!
ReplyDeletethanks for leaving me another comment~that was sweet of you!
Mr. Fab: I'm not ignoring you~
I was just hoping your comment would show up and it never did!
The chicks you see while you're in LA are probably locals.
I'm not a local.
I stick out like a sore thumb around here :)
I am SO not worthy...
ReplyDeleteGiving a gold diamond jewelry to someone you care about is a message of caring. There are so many great local resources now for gold diamond jewelry . It is easier than ever to pick up the phone or go online and find gold diamond jewelry.
ReplyDeleteAnother great site with a lot of updating information is http://www.aphroditesaccessories.com. Thanks by the way for such a great blog!
