  6. Maybe you should work up to carrying the heavy trays of drinks rather than starting with heavy. :) I love her comics! They are always so funny! Feel better soon.

I do love yoga....but I also like the way weights make my arms and shoulders look...except for times like these...when they just hurt like hell!

  8. Pissy, this "weight" you were lifting, did it have a beer label on it? :-)

I checked out pacificadvance.com, and apparently it's one of those payday loan companies. Whoever this Elmer guy is, he's spammed at least 52 other web sites with the same message. I guess he got tired of huntings wabbits, huhhuhhuhhuh...

  9. big tex: Nah...I don't drink beer...but I can see how that doing so could turn into a "high use injury". ;-)

    Thanks for checking Elmer out!

..... Uh, yeah, Elmer? ....does my blog LOOK like the kind that would advertise payday loans! LOL

  11. It's hard to hold back in the gym when the adrenaline starts to flow. I have to remind myself that I'm old and that stuff breaks, to take it easy- that I'd look pretty foolish if the hotel staff had to carry me out on a stretcher...

A pulled bicep should only take 3 or 4 days to stop hurting. But go really easy on it for the next month.

  12. Ooh, I hope you still talk to us after Elmer makes you rich and famous.

  13. Well...stop lifting small cars and you won't pull that muscle. And the cure for that is red wine..just use a straw, no lifting required.

    Feel better.
