Does Pamela Anderson just not have a PR person????

Saw this lovely photo on several sites....Why are those red splotches still on her arm?!?!?

They both look diseased to me.....

    I have seen those splotches and always wondered what they are. Why would she get a tattoo right by them? She is a interesting one for sure.

    Well, she has Hepatitis C and God only knows what else, so it's entirely possible that they really are some sort of disease. Still - yuck.

    Is that movie with goldie hawn and meryl streep called death becomes her? You know the one where they have all this "work" done and it starts to backfire? Their skin starts falling off...that and I think she looks like she has a constant yeast infection.

    Good ol' Plastic Pam... for someone who refuses to eat meat on principle, she sure manages to deal with the septic males of the world (Bret Michaels, Tommy Lee, Kid Rock). UGH. How long till she ends up with Fred Durst or the corpse of GG Allin?

    Pissy, she's always had those things on her arm for as long as I can remember. I remember watching some making of Barbed wire thing on MTV a hundred years ago and thinking they were bruises from Tommy Lee. But then I have seen them on her arm in every picture since. Usually they look more bruisey than red and blotchy.

    Okay, let me school you all, since I am the resident dermatology nurse. Pammy has lichen planus which was manifested from her poor immune system due to her Hep C. The lesions are NOT from the Hep C, just the fact that her immune system is weakened. Lichen planus is a VERY common skin condition for people who are immuno-compromised.

    It is NOT contagious.

    Now Kid Rock?

    That's one disease that also has no cure but is HIGHLY contagious.

    Makes you vomit too.

    Thanks for cluing us in on lichen planus; probably more than any of us ever wanted to know, but most informative! I followed the link you provided and read the various manifestations this skin disease can evolve into. Not pretty.

    Why doesn’t Pam do something about it or at the very least, cover up so no one has to look at it?
